    If you are buying it for a run around, I would avoid at all costs and get something jap or aussie.

      If you are serious about wanting a reliable daily driver that won't be too expensive to keep running there may be better choices around (albeit not as cool as an old Audi). Even if you can get spares there may be considerable waiting time if you have to source from overseas.

        You could always drop a VN V6 in it, and get your spares at K-mart....

            check it for service history and all that. test drive should let you know if anything serious is developing.

            perhaps get a mechanic or even RACV check.
