how do you guys find the way it looks? i think the rear is gorgeous. but the front looks too Golf-like and the sides look rather Civic-lancer-ish. doesnt look as classy as the previous one IMHO.

I far prefer the back of the new one,not convinced about the profile, and thing the old one looked far more distinguished from the front.
Will have to examine it in detail before I make any judgements though.

The front has far more in common with the Polo than the Golf.

I think it looks utterly boring. But for me, how it drives, safety, ergonomics, economy and creature comforts are far more important than external appeal.

Not bad looking but I wouldn't buy it, I'd rather the Mk5.

The bum looks A LOT like the Audi B8 A4, doesn't it?

But no bixenon/LED DRL option? Seems like an oversight.

VWA getting absolutely slammed in the comments field of the SMH on that Jetta article.

Backside does look alot better than the front IMO....

Yep, no xenon is an oversite but it just isn't VW Aus it is worldwide. Regardless of the country including Germany, a Xenon headlight has not been made available for the MK6 Jetta...... Crazy....

IIRC First batch of scirocco had no xenons either. Weird.

The base models come with hubcaps, but the comfortline and highline both come with attractive alloys.

This is unusual for a Jetta,as all the previous Jettas, including most Ventos and all Boras, had alloys.

Obviously agressive pricing ,but a bit of a backward step IMHO.
