Hi Everyone,
i am very close to purchasing an R36 Wagon so i thought i would join the forums and discuss odd and ends etc.
A bit about me - Toyota Technician, but off the tools for a while now, recently sold my 99 Lexus IS200, to which i fitted a 2003 VVTi 1JZGTE, high-stall/shift kitted (modified valvebody) auto, lots of fabrication work such as a custom turbo manifold and external wastegate setup, T04Z turbo, etc etc etc the list goes on.. made a neat 320rwhp at 15psi that carried peak boost from 3500-7500rpm with a big smack of torque (work out the calculations through a 'loose high stall converter' and thats about 400-430hp at the engine), unfortunatly i never got a chance to get down the 1/4 mile, but it would do a 100-180km/h dash in a mere 6.9 seconds.
Anyway just a brief intro as per the rules, look forward to contributing where i can and learning about VAG cars.
