Hello All,
After many years playing with early Kombis I have recently purchased a 2006 Kombi Beach dark silver in colour with auto transmission. It does not have the same look as the earlier kombis(a bit boring actually) but it is a hell of a lot better car to drive on the highway. My wife and I are loving it - Margaret especially likes the air conditioner and safety features etc etc. The 2.5L diesel engine has plenty of power and looks like it will do around a 1000k on a tank - not too shabby. Hopefully I will not be doing road side repairs as often either ! Anyway, I am sure their is much information to read about on this VW Watercooled site. Regards from Reg
