SA Rsearching Polo GTIs and Golf R

Hi all,

Doing some study before purchasing an MY15/16 Polo GTI or an MY11/12 Golf R.

Have come from the world of Subarus so AWD is a plus, but the fuel economy, warranty and BFYB of the polo gti is pretty attractive.

I'll have a couple of kids seats in the back and a bike rack on the roof.

I think it will come down to what is available and convenient, unless anyone has words of wisdom to guide me.

its gonna come down to how much space you need. The polo has a small boot, i struggle to fit in the kids cricket gear and seats for example, but they both fit in the back ok (8 and 10 year olds). You will need the golf if you need the extra space.

Golf R. Hands down.
Everytime you see or hear one while driving a polo, you'll regret it.
