Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

    Hi. New to this forum. I bought a 2012 Caddy just recently.
    I always wanted one but was talked out of it before....This time I was not to be stopped.Now I need to sell my 2010 Golf!!!!
    I do have a question straight off. My MFD has no steering wheel conrols (like my golf) of toggles on the wiper control as shown in the manual. It constantly shows the temperature only.
    Can I change it to digitally display speed in the centre or does this model not have that???
    It is a 2012 Diesel manual Maxi.

    Welcome to the forum.

    I believe you need an extra MFD computer module and the steering wheel controls to be able to display alternative information in the MFD. It was an optional extra on the 2011 Caddy Life, unfortunately my budget could not stretch to include it.
