Hi All,
Long time reader first time poster. Below portrays my history brought up on watercooled VW's and my first car was a 74 golf, followed by a 77 scirocco, 81 golf, 86 scirocco, 83 scirocco, 87 golf, 2000 golf. Fortunately for me I had a father with way too much patience throughout my formative years as unfortunately I crashed and or wrote off a majority the above. My attempts to destroy his love affair with 70's and 80's VW's however has not deterred him - he still owns a number of vehicles including Corrado's, Scirocco's, Jetta's as well as a couple of Audi's.
As for me, I'm now driving a stock 2011 Golf 90TSi with MK7 dijons.
For any 2.0 MK4 golf owners, I have a good awareness of issues and remedies associated with these vehicles from o2 sensors through engine replacements so feel free to reach out.
