new VW owner based in upper north shore of sydney - got mk6 gti w/ DSG , 18 detroits + carbon steel + xenons.
getting used to the way D and S modes work, and when to use manual mode. Need to get better at fast take offs.

Am considering a tune of some sort at some point.

Welcome! I'll keep an eye out for black Mk6 GTI's! You'll see me around the upper north shore, too. Mk7 GTI Performance in Pure White with "AF" plates.
