Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    Hey, I'm new to the VW scene, having had only Mitsubishi's the last 25 years.
    My Golf was the most researched car I've ever bought - pitted petrol against diesel, VW vs Citroen vs Peugeot vs Renault. Looked at all the designs, inside and out, fuel consumption, service charges and user reviews. Now have a Mk V 1.6 litre but still looking for something better - Polo looks like it.
