Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    VIC Hi There

    Hello all,

    My name is Michael and I am currently looking at purchasing my first VW in February 2016. I think I have settled on a 2008ish Passat TDI, I am beyond excited to bring one home.

    I found this forum whilst researching what car might be best for me and when I settled on a VW I saw this site constantly popping up and often answered my questions.
