I'm a new member of the VW world, just ten days ago took delivery of pepper grey my15 manual polo with sports pack option. I'm a father of 4, been a chef for the last 32 years and have been a keen aeromodeller and motorsports fan all my life, I found this group after doing a search for info on roof bars primarily so I can carry some of my large scale models to the field and what I saw was thoughtful considered responses to people who had asked the very same question.

I thought Id share my new VW and one of the things I plan to carry on its roof,
Im sure you all know more than I about the car so I'll give you a couple details about the sailplane, It ha been built by me from scratch and has a wingspan of 5m and weighs roughly 12kg,
