Newbie with 5 door white gti

Hi Guys thought I would join up and say hi.

Just recently bought a 5 door mk5 white gti.

On the lookout for mk6 gti steering wheel and red stitched dsg shift boot.

Welcome mate. If you are looking for a mk6 gti steering wheel you will also need the airbag and loom from a GTI as the airbags are different from mk5 and normal mk6 golfs.

Hey man. Check out gcp tuning. He's based in Mexico & his rates for the steering are decent. Quite a few of us from India have purchased & installed. It cost us about $560 odd with airbag + paddles (w/o cruise control). I believe he has with cruise control too. Attaching a pic for your reference. [/IMG]

Hey man thanks for the info and details about the steering wheel.

I was talking to the guy in Mexico before on ebay. That is the mk7 gti wheel and from all my research this wheel will not fit the mk5 properly for use of the mfsw or have you gotten yours to work on a mk5?
