NSW Just Bought a New Jetta (First VW)

Hey Guys, Im Shane From Sydney. I just purchased a 2015 Trendline Jetta. Pretty excited as i have never owned a vw or euro car before. Keen on modifying it slightly in the future. Im pretty active in the Sydney car community so hopefully i get to meet some of you in the near future. My other ride is an R34 GTT

quick question, did you pick up your jetta yet ? I also bought one last weekend and the dealer said i need to wait about 3 weeks before it gets into the country?

Finally got mine. almost 2.5 months wait. Pretty much got told it was because i wanted manual lol. Only picked it up yesterday.

omg 2.5 month wait for a Jetta !!! and here i was complaining about a 3 week wait..... anyways congrats.

Yeah was a long winded wait, seems people don't often order them in manual. One thing I have noticed already is that the manual has a bit of clutch chatter on idle.

Cheers, Unfortunately i am going to have to take it back to the dealer lol, Im not exactly sure if this rattle from the clutch is normal. Its pretty loud in the cabin when in neutral and the clutch is out.

I hope so, Im not even sure if it's a normal thing they do. I have never owned a car like this. Trying to find info online is hard because not many manual's in this model it seems.

Wow not even 200ks on the clock and the issues start already, not only does it have clutch chatter but it also has the issue of the cruise control not working every now and then, head unit won't play music of usb stick on start up, have to manually switch it to radio and then back to media. Kind of hoping this isn't a sign of things to come in the future.
