Hi All,
My wife has a manual mark 6 GTI that I am occasionally allowed to drive, sedately when shes in the car, less so when shes not. I intend to rectify the situation with a Golf R as soon as the redundancy money arrives ie in late June.
I previously had a XT Forester that was chipped, exhausted and coiled over, it had with 160kw at the dyno'd wheels.
I'm hoping the R can improve on the Fozzer experience without substantial mods and heavy fuel consumption. The current vehicle is a OTR V8 manual ute that absolutely gargles fuel, 20l/100k in suburbia.
I'm impressed by some of the reviews I've seen in this forum, so I joined
