Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

  • Mk1 2 Door Project

    Hi All

I'm Rob i have been a member of VW Watercooled for a long time however lost my membership info so here i am under my business Superior Connection. I have been building Mk1 Golfs for over 15 years. I am at a point now here quality is the key and when i say quality my golf is slowly coming a long. I am building a real drivers car a Mk1 with grunt and boost but also reliable and fun. My current project is a 1971 Mk1 2 door.

I specialise in PROFLOW performance parts and fittings so designing fuel systems and performance mods come natural. If you ever need help or advice about performance parts dont hesitate to contact me.

    Do you have a link?

At some stage in the future I want to replace the twin 40's on my MK1 with ITB's so any advice appreciated.

Welcome back to the forum. Make sure you post some pix on the MK1 section.

    Cheers

    Paul
