  • Hey All! Need help choosing....

    Hey All,

I recognise a few of you from around the various car traps.

Currently I drive an E46 328Ci which I've had for the last 6 years or so and have taken it as far as I can/want to as a reliable daily driver, so that's getting a cage thrown in it and will become something for a bit of track fun so I'll need something to replace it.

I'm tossing up the idea of a MY12.5/13 MK6 GTI, MY15 Polo GTI or a MK7 GTI if one comes up for the right price. I'd really love to get DSG as my 110km round trips are killing my left leg, but the problematic DQ200 in the Polo turns me off (that and losing 70nm...)

Anyway, look forward to hanging out and learning more. Hopefully I'll meet some of you at a meet one day.

    Cheers
    Jack

Get a MK2. Your left leg will still be painfull but you'll be so busy complaining about the noise and your back you won't have time to worry about your leg.

You'll also have a smile from ear to ear so it kind of balances out.

      Cheers

      Paul

PS. Some of them aren't slow.

Noise, back, leg, ride quality, general NVH, these are all complaints I have about my E46 already! (Maybe I'm getting old)
I already have one car that I've ruined as a daily, that's why I'm going to flog the arse out of it at the track to punish it and either put it into a wall or make it go pop.
