I just got a 2008 9n3 gti and am already impressed with the quality and the speed of the stock unit. Looking at making the look more aggresive as it looks a bit SUVish at stock height but its such a great little beast.
Also I got into VWs just recently again looking at the new formula drift car for Tanner. One day it would be awesome if VW put out a rwd Passat, Id definitely get one of those.
