Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    NSW G'day all.

    Newbie Rick here in the middle of Hunter Valley wine country. Bought my baby, a 2007 9N3 Polo GTI in November and can't seem to wipe the grin from my face!!! Traded my 2005 Holden Barina SRi and must admit that VW pack a lot into a little package. Bought her from North Shore VW at Artarmon after much research, she only had 48,000ks on the clock and was basically a city car. Leather interior, sunroof, crappy Falken tyres but hey, Goodyears next. Have always liked small European cars, Fiat 132GLS, '74 BMW 2002ti and Renault Virage have all graced my garage over the years but I think the Polo is easily the best overall package by far. Great to hook up with like-minded people and share info.
