Hello, I am a new user and new GTI owner in Chicago, IL. I have been driving VW diesels for the last 11 years, but given I take public transport to work and only drive weekends decided a gas car wouldn't kill me financially. I am the proud owner of a red 2 door SE GTI with manual transmission and lighting package. Picked it up a week ago, and once dealer gets leaky valve stems fixed tomorrow it's off to the highway for some well deserved fun.
