Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

  • SA Hello!

Hi there, Paul from Adelaide here.

I've been driving a 2004 Honda Accord Euro for the past 7 years and looking to upgrade to something a bit sportier. Love the look of the new Golf GTI so am here to read people's experiences with VWs and chat with others about pricing.

    Cheers

    Welcome to VWW.

There's a good contingent of Adelaide based VWWers, of which I used to be one. If you're looking for a clean example and to save $ off new have a look over mine per my sig. . In all seriousness great cars and you'll love making the jump - a few of us came from Mk1 Accord Euros too.

      Thanks Dutch77!

My Euro has been a great car and hasn't let me down, but it's time to update it and the Golf reviews sound great. I'd definitely consider a near new second hand one when I'm ready to buy. I think Qld might be a bit far to travel though!! Good luck selling it and thanks for the welcome

        Welcome Paul!

I made the jump from a CL9 Euro to a Golf GTI as well. You won't regret it.
