Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    QLD New GTI owner!!

    So I have finally caved after spending the past two years creeping around the VW forums and have decided to become a member. As I am guessing with most, the thing that made me sign up was due to my new purchase - GTI DSGmk7 white with motorsport rims. I'm really excited, and while I am waiting for the delivery of the car (dealer said next week but after reading posts on the forums, I'm not holding my breath) I have done nothing but live on this website over the past two weeks. It was long time coming buying this car. I was originally going to purchase one back in 2012 but had to bite the bullet and stick with my Corolla as I decided to live overseas for a couple of years. Well when I arrived back in Aus, I found myself signing the contract the very next day and can't wait to get in it. Hopefully, in time, I'll be able to contribute to this forum.
