  • VIC Golf R - Colour decision

    Hi Guys

Test drove the R on Sat and i instantly knew i had to have it. The only decision is the colour and would like your thoughts on it. Ive been told that the waiting period is at least 4 months

Currently own a Polo GTI MY13

    Cheers

I just ordered a Lapiz Blue. Plenty of white with black sunroof variants around that look awesome. But I decided on the blue with sunroof, because you can't get it in any other variant golf. Making it stand out that bit more.

The only colour i personally wouldn't get in the R is black because all the piano black accents just blend in. Personally i love the grey, but the blue is also lovely.

But ultimately you want to choose the colour that YOU want, otherwise you won't be happy with it.

Thats what i was thinking. Blue might end up being common. I did think about the Red but im still torn between the white and blue. My current Polo Gti is White and looks great. Maybe i should get the black.... Feel like first world problems lol..

I've got a limestone grey R, and you need to see this colour to appreciate it. A sone of my friends said, it is a wolf in sheeps clothing....

Choice of colour is such a personal issue, where you should never be influenced by other people's opinions, as you are the one who has to live with that decision. Having said that, white is my preference, based on the fact it least shows imperfections in the paintwork, such as swirl marks. It's the easiest to maintain, and shows the least dust. It's the coolest to touch in the sun, so the interior should be the coolest on a sunny day. White is timeless and never goes in or out of fashion. Need I go on? [emoji39]
