Hi guys, I hope I'm posting this in the right spot.
I am wondering if any of you can offer advice. My 2013 B7 Passat Alltrack has had issues with the 130TDI engine.
The coolant leaked into the cylinders by a broken head gasket several months ago. It was fixed and all well until yesterday when the coolant warning message came on again and I suspect it is the same problem (there is no external leaking). The coolant level goes basically down to nothing overnight and so I cannot drive the car (it has to be towed as per VW Assist protocol, plus I don't want to drive it and damage the engine). The car is still under warranty but the dealer mentioned that the first repair would have cost ballpark 8-9K if it wasn't carried out under warranty.
The dealer has not got back to me yet about what they are going to do this time. Has anybody had the same experience and can anybody offer advice about recourse with VW?
I'm planning some big road trips soon and really need this sorted!!!
