Hi all...this probably looks familiar to some of you but after my first post, I realised that I had done a typo in my username and the very nice Administrator changed my name for me. This also means I have to start again with this being my first post.
So here I go again...
I've never had any experience with a Golf or a VW before so I wasn't sure what to expect. I've had plenty of sports cars before (Silvia, RSC182, etc) and I'm luck to have many friends who let me drive their cars sometimes (Boxster, S2K, M3, etc). But I have to say I'm happy with my latest purchase...it's practical (I've never had rear doors before) and it's not slow either!
I didn't have much choice though...
No manual...apparently only 5% of Australian stock comes in manual and at the time, there were only 2 left. 6 month wait.
No bi-xenon headlights or sunroof...6-9 month wait
No performance pack...no knew when that was coming out
I did get leather though and it is in white.
I'm already looking at new headlights and vinyls & plastidip(don't judge...hopefully it'll look classy).
