Hi all,
Just joined up today after hearing a few things about this place from another member some time ago (not sure of his username, but now had two Polo GTi's - Silver (road) and Red (track - recent addition)).
At the moment am considering my next option for a small car and the Polo GTI 6R is equal top of the list for purchase in the next few weeks. I won't say what else is at the top at this stage, where I am torn at the moment in buying the P-GTI is the love of driving a manual via a gearstick, not playing with paddles.... it will be my car,. not the "family" car so 3 or 5 doors does not bother me.
Who am I? well a mid aged family guy with little hair left (hence catchy username), live Brisbane northside, work on the Sunny Coast.
Where have I come from? An array of cars including (but not limited to):
3 x Morris Mini's in various states of tune
2 x modified turbo Foresters (99 GT (engine/suspension/brake upgrades) & 06 XT (engine/suspension/brake/tune upgrades)
1 x Focus XR5 (suspension upgrades)
but have taken a 4 year break to do renovations to a house (using the boat - Subaru Outback).
Anyway - that is about all for now, looking forward to learning more and tastefully and subtly modifying the Polo (should I buy it).
