Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

  • QLD Okay so i dont own a vw... BUT I WANT ONE!!

Hows it goin the names Trent, im from QLD, im 17 and currently have my red P's!
Unfortunately i do not own a vw but the real reason i am on here is to check out the vr6 scene.
After my dad bought a vw bora 4motion a while back i have fallen inlove with vw's but havnt yet had the chance to own one .. Im currently saving up my mula and in the very near future searching for a nice clean mk3 vr6 or a bora 4mo.. Hoping to stay under 10k though! Anyway i dont really know what else to say because im new to this but the forum made me post here for some weird reason hahah. Oh and if anyones wondering i currently drive a fully sick nissan pulsar n15 hatch which i picked up for $1000 as it was a previous company car. Its done 250000 kms and still going strong! Iv done a few little tasteful mods but nothing to serious as i wasnt planning on keeping the car for long.

P.s.. If theres any mk3 or bora 4mo owners on here reading this id love to see what ya got and learn a bit about them and your opinions on buying

    cheers!

Welcome to the forum, love that your 1st post was at 1:42 AM.

A VR6 for under $10k shouldn't be a problem but the really good ones are getting harder to find. Keep an eye open for ones sold on this forum because it's easy to check out their history to see what problems / fixes / mods have been done.

    Cheers
