Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

  • NSW New vr6 owner

Hi all, I just got my p's, and am a proud owner of a 1995 mk3 vr6. Looking to keep it quite stock, so no major mods.. For now. Looking forward to learn some tips and tricks about the forum and vw's in general.

    Cheers,
    Luka

      Thank you
Will get photos up tomorrow, as I have only owned the car for a few hours now, and haven't really had any time to get some good shots of it.

Pics will come up ASAP. Haven't really had and good weather to clean it yet... It's been pretty overcast lately :/

Yeah, it would be a bummer if It faded.

                  Welcome aboard!

You should add to your WTB list:

                  Water Pump
                  Crack Pipe
                  Window Regs
                  Central locking Pump
                  Coil Pack
                  AC Compressor
                  Timing Chains

Being the commonly busted up parts on the VR6s there is a good chance you will need some or all of them eventually. Your new best friend is likely to be GermanAutoParts.com
