new to vw watercooled

Hello all,

Owned a type 3 fastback 17 years ago when learning to drive. I have not had any product of wolfsburg since then, until I pick up a new golf GTI on thursday, then a touareg next week. Looking forward to getting to know both cars. Will probably modify the golf but not the treg.

I was hoping to get hold of the gti before the lakeside run this weekend, but it looks like early next week now.

The golf is a red DSG with 18inch detroits and reversing camera, windows being tinted after pickup. I usually prefer leather interior, but I do like the tartan, and the kids will be banned from even thinking about food if they are in the car, anyway. In the furure, I can see APR being involved in some upgrades.

Touareg is the Tdi 180 in white with area view, drivers assist and sports interior. I would like to get some black 20 inch Cayenne wheels for it at some point. Other than that will stay stock

what i would pay to see every x3 and x5 on the road replaced by a treg. Lucky guy
