Can anyone give me some help with updating the media options in my 09 Touareg?
I want to install a sat nav with ipod connectivity (titles/playlists etc) and bluetooth for my phone. Having read quite a few threads on many VW forums here and abroad i'm utterly confused.
I have a couple of options it seems:
1) go to VW dealer and pay a small fortune for them to install kit.
2) order parts of internet from many US/UK/EU stores and install them myself or pay a tech to do it.
Am thinking I will go with Option 2, however will need to know what the part numbers are. A quick bit of research tells me I will need the RNS510 unit, a Media IN unit (and cable) and a bluetooth unit. Only trouble is not sure what the exact part numbers are that will help me...
Have also heard/read that new RNS510 units come already with bluetooth. Is this true as I would have no idea.
Hopefully someone out there can help me!
PS... will probably need a nav disc to load onto unit too...any ideas?
