However I am finding out that its not the same car I asked for. It hasn't come in with the 18" or the sat nav. I am just talking about price or whether I wait

Both those options can be easily retrofitted in about an hour maximum so i would be demanding they rectify the issues pre-pickup

Tempetyres sells replica's that you could probably source with tyres for about $1.6-2k
The RNS510 can be sourced form ebay for $999 with free shipping.

Who did you buy your's from and what country were they from?

Mine said UK but it came from Lithuania.

I am having a look right now. Can you provide any light on the antenna and how it was installed???

The antenna is magnetised and just sticks on top of the unit in the tiguan.
I believe there is a potential mounting area in teh dash of the GTI.

Best bet is to google retrofit rns510 though to get a guide for the GTI.
