  • SA Pergs' Mk4 Golf GTI

    Hi all,

I've been a part of the VW Watercooled Forum for a short time now and from tomorrow afternoon I will be the new proud owner of an 2002 VW Golf Mk4 GTI.

As a previous owner of a N14 Nissan Pulsar with many suttle suspension & performance mods including a +T conversion to lay down 160kw @ 10psi on the floor, I look forward to the experience of becoming a new dubber!

The clock reads 110k kms and it looks and sounds to a be tidy and well looked after Golf!

The GTI currently resides in Coffs Harbour but will soon be taken care of back down in Adelaide! Road Trip!!

    Thanks guys,

    Brent

Yeah, I've seen a few PGA members floating aroud the VW forum! ha

Few Pics from yesterday work, a few scratches etc in the paint work but nothing that a little bit of age doesnt permit.

One item that needs attention at the moment is some spare keys as I only have one standard non-remote key!

Will have the consult software on the car today to check it out and get the SKC but has anyone gone down the path of adding keys to a Mk4 GTI?

I reckon you'll be needing VCDS to code the keys. I have one.
