Well can report in that I'm loving my new ride! ( courtesy of Koztek )
Learned how to adjust the coilovers on Sunday, easy as anything so will have fun putting them up and down as it suits me!
Had a almost disaster with the original VW jack that came with the car. My mate was helping me and as I got the jack out he said I dont trust that thing, what do you know 5 mins later the thing buckles and the plastic piece that the car sits on snaps! Lucky I had all the wheel nuts out but the wheel in place on my side so it didn't fall on its axles.
The day was saved by his compressor jack that we should of used in the first place!
Round 2 was with the back bumper, someone in St Kilda must of knocked it out of the side clip ( It wasn't clipped in all along the bumper so just side clips were holding it on ) Driving back up Alma Rd and I notice the whole bumper fly off and almost go under a car behind me.
Looked online because I figured that the bumper must be fastened to the car with more than just side clips....Eventually ended up figuring out the clip system into the bumper bar after closer looking and feeling around. Wrestled with it, gave up, wrestled again and finally got all the clips into the slots. ( The upward slide seemed to work in the end! )
Fitted my sub next and we are all done for the day, very productive Sunday.
