We've ordered a Tig! Mountain Grey TDI manual, should be picking it up within a week.

For those that are looking at Tig's, there appears to be a promotion on during May - we saved close to $2000. The promotion only applies to cars in stock during May.

I'm a bit excited - haven't had a new car for nearly 10 years!

Which dealer did you go to and what options did you get?

Hi mate, we ended up going through Austral, mainly because they had the car we wanted in stock, so we avoided a 4 month wait! We were also dealing with a broker, and he could get us the car a few hundred cheaper, but not the exact colour or specs we wanted, unless we were prepaired to order it - in whcih case we would have missed out on the May promotion. Both the broker and Austral knew about the May promotion.

We got the comfort pack and offroad technology pack, and some floor mats. I'm going to get a towbar, roof bars and tint, but I can get a better deal for those else where.

$35000 after our trade in (2001 Camry) - I think the Tig price was around $39700

Not a bad price considering the options.
The trade in value is prety poor but that's what happens i guess.

I looked elsehwere for the Tig tint and only found it $50 less than the dealer.
So i got the dealer fit one and if anything goes wrong they have to fix it.

I was pretty happy with $4700 for the trade in. I know a private sale could have got me a couple of grand more, but I've done that before and couldn't be bothered with the hassle this time.

I've got a price of around $1500 for factory tint and tow bar - Austral were about $700 more than that.

Sounds reasonable.
The tint i was quoted for was $500.
