Hi Robbie here are my personal choices strip the whole van empty , we glued a product called triflex to every single outer section including roof tailgate etc . Then made up 4 ml ply panels screwed them to side walls also putting chunks of foam {old foam mattres} into any hollow cavities and some behind ply to stop drumming . Triflex onto wheel arches . covered side walls and arches with synthetic carpet sometimes called Hull liner available from motor trim suppliers glue with spray contact the stuff is real stretchy so it moulds perfectly . Then cover floor with 6 ml ply screw it down and one layer triflex and finish with commercial grade carpet . When this parts finished you will have an extremly quiet van you can then build whatever you want for camping over this . I would point out that you may want to build any cupboards at the same time as you do the other stuff in case they need to be mounted directly to floor or walls .Don,t forget to put triflex into the roof area remove masonite panels and glue to metal roof its amazing the difference this makes to driving comfort as it stops nearly all the road noise and drumming . Hope this helps Howard
