Hi all, looking forward to participating actively in this forum.

I own a 2006 VW Golf TDI and have never regretted choosing the Diesel model. Saved quite a lot of bucks on fuel! Only whinge is that the rear brake lights have blown out four times over the last 3 odd years.

And also would like to request the moderators/admins to change the automatic email title that requires further authentication to determine if I am legit as it had the title "Account banned at VWwatercooled...." it was a shock and I personally find the title quite offensive.

    Cheers
    Antony

I apologise for any inconvenience this has caused and I hope this doesn't detract from your experience.

We get a massive amount of new sign ups everyday including a very large number which are spammers, to combat this we have a system that is set up to allow through all Australian registrations (as well as a few other selected countries) without any question. All other registrations are automatically rejected, banned and set an automatic message asking them to confirm they are a real person and know what we are about. A short email see's those accounts unlocked as soon as it's received.

Two possible causes of this could be your overseas at the moment or your using a overseas based proxy server.

If it has an engine or heartbeat it's going to cost you.
