Hi.

I live in Sydney and currently drive a Toyota Avensis. With another child on the way, the family are considering upgrading to a Caravelle with 8 seats. Looking forward to hearing from your experiences as we make our decision.

I will post a question about people's experiences with the front bench seat in the appropriate forum.

Welcome aboard. I too have been looking to upgrade the wifes car with another baby on the way and have been looking to see what options are even valid, you can follow the progress in this thread if your interested.

The summary is there are very very few cars that actually have more than 3 child restraint points and even of those that have three, using all three at once with full size seats is near impossible. If you want 5 child restraints and lots of seats have a look at the Multivan instead of the Caravelle
