Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

I considered selling my MK3 for this MK2, it is absolutely gorgeous and pretty much perfect. Best colour, big bumpers, arches, slammed and perfect wheels

I know exactly what its like going from a 31 to a Golf, both completely different cars. I much prefer the Golf to the 31 TBH, much better car overall even though the HR was a tad more reliable

Glad to see the cars gone into another set of good hands

      Thanks Lorenz!

I do miss your HR, I considered buying it for quite a while there.

As for the mk2, it couldn't get any better, I had it on a hoist yesterday and found a few things that require attention, seems the engine doesn't want oil so its pooing a bit out of the sump but that looks pretty easy too.
