New R32 Owner

Hi All

Been lurking on the forum for a while thought it was time to introduce myself as I picked up my new R32 last friday.

Have one quick question, can anyone recommend car wash on the northern beaches of sydney where I can wash my car with my own buckets and use their HP sprayers?

I have just ordered mine as well, should be picking it up in 10 days or so. Its also black on black with sunroof. Enjoy your ride mate, as sure as hell, I'll be enjoying mine

Anyone know how many MK5 R32's were allocated for Australia. I hear there were around 200 units of the MK4 R32. Is that correct?

That's correct in regards to the Mk4. There were only 200 sold in Oz. "unlimited" supply of Mk5 R32s though. After saying that, stock of Mk5 R32 really down since VW is having a free on road this month for Mk5 and some other models.

Congrats on the purchase mate.

Star Wash Cafe or whatever it is, in manly is one i would reccommend. they dont scratch the car (my parents car is brand new and its only been taken there. looks exactly as it was on its first day...minus some gutter rash from my mum.) but it can get expensive if u want it buffed etc. however they are neg. if u play ur cards right. (oh and become a member and u get more mullar off).

I'll keep an eye out for u as im in manly myself.

As for car wash, using own bucket and washers..
Theres a place in collaroy on the pittwater road. Jetwash?, its selfserve.
