    Hey all,

bought myself a white 95 vr6 manual. shes got a few ks on the clock (nearing 200k) and needs a bit of work but is a sweet drive. I sold my 95 statesman for it, so i was fairly keen on the vr6. and im loving the upgrade from the statesman.

we all know what they look like stock...and well this ones pretty much stock for now. So no pictures needed.

I'm on the northern beaches of sydney and yeah thats pretty much it.

    peace all.

yeh, dont worry about the k's, they're uber strong engines mine has nearly 280k and i've had no real problems apart from a coil pack White's the best colour too, but i could be biased! haha, on another note, I was born in the Royal North Shore Hospital enjoy your stay and be sure to SEARCH your questions as you may find it's already been covered!

sorry been away from the computer.

I'm in love with it, however theres a few bits and peices (such as shocks and wheel allignment) which need doing, but other than that i dont know what im gonna do to it. Ive been looking into just the simple tinting tuning and lowering the car, but we will see how it goes...the mullar will be the tricky part (as with anything)

                  but definately loving my VR6

You will learn to love and hate your VR6 but the love so over rides the hate, get rid of the suit case exhaust and get a cold air intake off ebay and the sound is insane, The main pain in the arse things are heater core and fuel pump and as stated the coil pack if that go's dont buy it from VW as you will need to see your bank manager.

                        Hi all,

                        I am also new too!

I've had my vr6 for almost a year and love it to bits! (Taking photos once I wash it this week >_<

Speaking of things being covered, has anyone talked about the fact that the vr6 doesn't have a petrol light? Like a warning that your petrol is low? Is that normal for European cars or something? We've never had one so I can't compare... Just struck me as weird... Although I guess we don't need it, just makes you feel more comfortable, like the kick in the backside you need to fill up...
