Becareful of this comment. That is what I thought too, my timing chain was over due for 5,000 km. After a 600km day trip and bumping into some mk5 members the high way and showing off some serious V6 power (that was a great day BTW). It bent one of the value ! So service as needed! I learnt the hard way... It ended costing the same as replacement engine !!
