oh its gonna happen mate, just a matter of when When the bank ballance grows a little bit ill start looking seriously, my old man has said he can suss out cars for me instead of me coming up to look at everyone which should make things alot easier.

and just from reading around looking for info and whatever it seems like a better place that the old 31 club, none of the bull**** fighting and all that.

The sales person kindly showed me a 'better value' late model previous gen Barina. Told him I was looking for a friend who wanted a Golf specifically. He pointed out that the Barina was built in Germany. I just looked him square in the eye and said 'Yeah, nah' and walked off...

I noticed there is a mk3 TDI on car sales at the moment in Lonsdale I believe...Will be easy to move come resale!

id never even thought about a TDI or diesels in general. Might have to look into them a little more. Although 7k is stretching my budget at the moment.

Still, my family live 5 mins from Londsdale so I might get em to check it out and go from there.
