Ok....ive just read some past threads. My Tiguan is a 2017 model. Just had it serviced then day after on a long drive received warning alert about the gearbox and then gears felt like were getting stuck in between gears. Went back to garage (not vw service centre) who investigated and advised needed new mechatronic unit and day of programming. Cost near $5k. This seems to be a fault with this model vehicle of this age that VW know about and should have done a recall on -
