Hi all, 90TSI manual. Driving around Brisbane in the rain today. Just driving along and the ABS/ESP fault lights come on.
No big puddles, pot holes etc, on the motorway when they come on.
What are the chances that water has got into a connector somewhere? If it dries out, will the fault... -

It's my son's first car but I've driven it a fair amount
I must say that in many ways I'm really impressed. 240K on the clock, 1.9 TDi, Manual, it's mostly in good condition...

Overheating (sort of)
I have a tuned mk5 GTI with a k04 and supporting mods (s3 injectors, big HPFP etc). It’s been dead reliable until now. I took it to the track the other weekend and ever since it’s been running about 10 degrees C hotter than normal — between 98-102 degrees in normal driving.

Oil in engine bay damage
Looking for advice/experience on a stupid mistake I made today. Long story short, I mustn’t have screwed the oil cap back on correctly after topping up the oil in my Golf Alltrack TSI.
