Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    QLD Tiguan R-Line Noob

    Hi all,

    Just picked up a Tiguan Allspace R-Line which I'm stoked with. 1 owner and in as-new condition. Looking forward to getting to know the forums and the vehicle a bit more after years of Subarus.

    The new (to me) Tiguan - yes it's just a stock car, but I love it. Big improvement over the Subies in style and features.

    Welcome aboard and congrats on the Tig.

    Nice Liberty and especially the Forester - I used to run a large Forester forum back in the day before a data server issue took us out

      Nice car but what year is it as if you re wanting to do a few mods they are a bit crippled from 2020 onwards. My 2019 had over 30 done to it

        Thanks guys.

        It's a 2019. I won't get carried away (not intentionally) as it's a family car - but maybe just some induction improvements and a basic tune.

        Pete- I was around in the good old days when OzFoz and GtRydaz were around - I've had a couple of Legacies and the Liberty above, so I was all over RSLC in the early/mid? 2000s

        Still remembering all the stuff like IMG tags haha...

          Ah, very cool!

          Yeah, I was weaned on GTrydaz and then started OzFoz with a mate. Good times indeed. A lot of big annual events, a few track days and skidpan evens thrown into the mix. Great cars and awesome people. We had a few RSLC'ers in the mix too, including BJM and also Marv who has since gone on to Street Machine and MCM infamy. Take me back!!!!
