QLD TDI AMAROK 2 Door

Searching for a TDI Amarok 2 Door ute.
Is it better to get a 340 six speed Manual OR a 420 8Sp Auto ?

Anybody had both versions ?

I'm not looking for a rocket but would prefer reasonable performance

Any sensible advice appreciated

TDI340 6m is RWD only. 400TDI is 6m in 4WD (proper low range selectable), 400/420TDI Auto is AWD (no low range).

Incidentally, the TSI300 6m is RWD and has better performance than all the 4 cylinder TDIs. It is even lighter on fuel at highway speeds ...
