Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    NSW VW Polo MY17

    My Polo; Trendline DSG 7 Speed 5D 1.4L 6R new Nov. 2016. @Oct 2024 coming up to 50K klm. Nice machine.

    Mate I'd suggest you check your car again. MY17 did not have a 1.4. and was a 6C not a 6R. 6C Trendline 66TSI (1.2Turbo) was introduced in MY15 (late 2014 build onwards).

        Redbook is wrong, was actually a 6C (the VW code for the facelifted 6R from MY15 onwards).
