    Hey all

coffeemanic here with a 2022 Audi SQ5 TDI

Came here by searching for performance mods - hopefully will find some useful things and also as I learn more be able to help others.

Love my car so far but I know I can get more out of it.

Hi and welcome. While im sure some of the well known tuning companies can offer a tune for the newer SQ5, you should put the variable oil pressure high on your priority list.

In the endless pursuit of reduced emissions, Audi have fitted this newer generation 3.0L V6 TDI with variable oil pressure pump which is electronically controlled, and the pressure is too low and can cause expensive engine repairs. Basically, below 2500rpm (or 300nm of torque) the oil pump runs a low pressure. Above 2500rpm (or above 300nm) the oil pressure raises to max level.

Im not sure if this can be addressed with VCDS, or if a tune is required.

Have a look at Celtic Tuning who have a dealer in Sydney for a tune for added performance.
