NSW Newbie to the website, Golf mk5 Gti

Hi forum,

Saying hi from a proud owner of a 2006 Golf Mk5 GTi with a Stage 1 tune. I have upgraded the stereo and brought it up towards the standard that these cars should be due to previous owners.

Due to expanding family, I might have to upgrade to a Passat, but it would be nice to stay within the VW family.

I'll be looking forward to reading the other forum posts and interacting as I want to be a hands-on car owner.

Hi and welcome. Good to see there are plenty of Mk5 GTI's still getting around. I was looking to buy one a few months ago, but couldnt a suitable one with a manual gearbox. I have always loved the Pirelli edition but always wished they were available in Australia with a manual gearbox.
