So, someone may help you if you say what car and what MMI you have as none can from the lack of information in your post

Hi and welcome. If you have a 2017 model car then you should have Apple Carplay or Android Auto - I would suggest using the maps from your phone as they update constantly. The map feature built into the car is not very good in my opinion.
