hi my name is Peter but I’ve been called peedee for the past 50 odd years, my wife has a 2008 Tiguan tdi common rail diesel, my every day is an 01 Pajero with nearly 400000 klm on it still on original motor and gearbox, my toy that I have had since 09 is a 1970 VG valiant regal hardtop which came to me as a bare shell even had been stripped of paint, it took me 9 years to rebuild it doing all panel paint and mechanical including rebuilding the motor auto trans and diff, I also modified a dodge dart convertible top to fit it as no local upholsterer were interested in doing a vinyl top on it, I know it will not rust under the vinyl as factory the paint only went to about 2-2.5 cm up from the start of the vinyl the rest was just primer, I have put about 2.5 litres of paint on the roof alone.
My main reason for joining is to be able to ask questions which I will post in the relevant sections
